Are your bakes really egg-free and meat-free?

Yes. Everything that leaves the studio is baked egg-free and meat-free (vegetarian), from the cakes down to the focaccia. It's the whole point of Rezzatesi, there's no separate "regular" line. We bake out of a fully vegetarian commercial kitchen where meat is never allowed on site, so there's no meat grease and no risk of cross-contamination, ever.

Is the kitchen inspected and food-safe?

Yes. Rezzatesi is a Fraser Health approved, food-safe certified studio baking out of a fully vegetarian commercial kitchen in Langley, BC. We follow Fraser Health's food handling and labelling requirements on every order.

Can you guarantee allergen-free? (nuts, gluten, dairy)

No. We are not a nut-free, gluten-free or dairy-free facility. Bakes are made in a kitchen that also handles wheat, tree nuts, dairy and soy, so we can't rule out cross-contact. Please tell us about allergies before you order and we'll be honest about what we can and can't do safely.

How far ahead should I order?

Please order at least 7 days ahead so we can guarantee your date, custom cakes especially. We'll always try to help with shorter notice, but we can't promise it during busy weeks.

Pickup or delivery?

Pickup is free from our Langley studio at an arranged time. Local delivery within Metro Vancouver is a flat fee, shown in your basket and paid securely up front. Outside Metro Vancouver? Get in touch and we'll see what we can arrange. We confirm the exact place and time by email once your order is set.

How do I pay, and when?

Orders are paid in full at checkout, securely by card via Stripe, and your itemised receipt is emailed automatically. Pick a size by servings, add any finishing touches, and the total (plus delivery, if you choose it) is settled up front. For fully bespoke requests we quote by email first and arrange payment once the design and price are confirmed.

Our policies

Returns & refunds, all food sales are final

Because every order is a fresh, perishable, made-to-order food item, all sales are final. We can't accept returns, refunds or exchanges once an order is confirmed and made, for food-safety reasons we're not permitted to take food back. If something isn't right with your order, contact us right away and we'll make it right where we can.

Changes & cancellations

Need to change or cancel? Reach out as early as possible. Once we've purchased materials and started baking, cancellations and refunds are no longer possible. Payments for custom orders are non-refundable at that point, and last-minute cancellations (inside 48 hours) can't be refunded. Date changes are accommodated when we can.

Food safety, storage & allergens

Our bakes contain no added preservatives, so enjoy them fresh and follow any storage notes we give you (some items keep best refrigerated). Ingredient and allergen information is provided on request and, where required, on the label. You're responsible for letting us know about allergies before ordering, see the allergen note above.
